Resin Quality Inspection & Lab Testing
Batch sampling and third-party lab verification: MFI, density, OIT, and thermal stability for HDPE; K-value, impact strength, and Vicat softening point for PVC compound.
What We Do
Document verification tells you what the supplier claims. Lab testing tells you what the resin actually is. We coordinate batch sampling and third-party laboratory testing for all pipe-grade resins — with accredited Chinese labs, results delivered before shipment.
Tests We Coordinate
HDPE (PE100 / PE80 / PE100-RC)
- Melt Flow Index (MFI) — ISO 1133, confirms grade consistency and detects blending
- Density — ISO 1183, PE100 ≥ 0.954 g/cm³
- Oxidation Induction Time (OIT) — ISO 11357-6, measures antioxidant package integrity
- Thermal stability — confirms processing window matches grade specification
- Carbon black content — for black pipe compound, ISO 6964
PVC-U Compound
- K-value — ISO 1628-2, confirms base resin grade
- Charpy impact strength — ISO 179
- Vicat softening temperature — ISO 306
- Calcium carbonate filler content — detects excessive filler substitution
PP-R Pellets
- MFI — ISO 1133
- Density — ISO 1183
- Tensile strength — ISO 527
Sampling Procedure
We collect samples from sealed bags in the warehouse, not factory-provided test specimens. Sampling follows ISO 8967 (polyolefins) or ISO 1265 (PVC powder/compound) as applicable. Chain of custody documentation provided with results.
